We thought Red Eyes was the first trail causualty today. He is by far the most enthusuastic hiker. We heard he was off the trail in town, and did not expect to see him again. He showed up at the hostile after dark. He said he went to a car show and drank beers before getting on the trail again. He apparently was only a few minutes behind us, and was driven off Blood Mountain by the same kids that drove us off. He saw my name in the register, and hiked down here to find me. He was told by someone there was no bunks left, but I introduced hin to Pirate who set hi up for the night. We've been playing cards and watching the werewolf vs the vampire lady.
