Waiting for a Shuttle that did not come

We had a very long day. We started at the Cheese Factory this morning. It was very cold and we got a late start on the trail. We hiked about 12 miles to Dicks Gap (I think). There was a note on the trail for Cloud Nine shuttles. Shuttles were supposed to run on the half hour until 5 pm, but none were coming after an hour so we walked the 1.5 miles to the hostile.

There is so many hikers here that we are staying in a trailer with Tiger Baum and Denny. They camped with us at Hawk Mountain and Gooch Mountain shelters. They are an older couple who are also thru hikers. They got a shuttle from Unico Gap.

We also met Astro Girl at the hostile. We met her a few times on the trail. She's a section hiker whose already done most of the trail. She's taking two weeks off while her husband runs their computer programing business.
